New Website Up... Sort Of.

I finally got FlynnTaggart.com to the point of functionality. Right now it's running pretty bare-bones, but the main stuff is working: blog, biography, forums. I'm hoping to fire up the additional features in the coming weeks (read: months), but we'll get there eventually. Keep in mind that while the forum is functional, it doesn't look 100% solid. This is mostly because the graphical icons in the layout aren't fully optimized for the design yet. So, you'll see some white jagged bits of graphic hanging out. Hmm.. That sounds naughty.

In other news, tax season is all but over with. My work is done, which means I can finally get back to the writing and website work. I've already started brainstorming for my "Gaia Theory" revision. The ideas include a completely new opening to the book, deeper characters, and more fleshing out of the original storyline. And for those of you that read the novella, get ready, because the entire ending is being reworked.

As some of you may have heard, I took a 4-day vacation to Florida near the end of March. It was a lot of fun. I walked away with some funny stories (soon to come) and the worst sunburn of my life. I actually received second-degree burns on the top of my ears. Didn't even know that was possible. Now I know why I stay tucked away in my apartment during the day.

Well, I'm a vampire too. Dracula ain't got nothin' on me.
